Original Poster. Sushanth Sudhaker. I've had a similar issue. Google maps would never run in the background. My Solution: I randomly came across sleeping apps on my device and realized that Google maps was one of the apps which was in that list. I deleted it from that list and whola!!

Yes, same starts to happen for my note9. Found it in "sleeping apps" list, removed from list al all goes great, no gps issues in maps anymore! Michael Gonzalez, Android Developer. Google, this issue has to do with how background threads are handled when a device goes into battery saving mode.
Zte blade microphone not working
Currently apps who power are monitored and exceed some threshold have services disabled when the device idles in this mode. This is similar to how JobScheduler detects a state change and pauses the a job in progress. This is not a good solution as we need to keep the rest of our apps from using too much power. What Gooogle should do is allow the power monitoring of Google Apps to be disabled. In the Battery Activity it shows a list of apps and allows the user to manually add additional apps to an exception list. Loading times are moderate. The Blade V9 always kept cool in our test. The speakers of our ZTE smartphone are a less-than-ideal solution.
The sound characteristics are limited to mid tones; high and low tones fall off drastically. Thus, music and speech sound very unbalanced. The quality of the Blade V9's speakers is on par with the class average in its price segment. The device is equipped with a 3. It has a very soft feedback when plugging in a cable and doesn't click into place. The connection is still firm and does not come loose accidentally.

We measured a relatively high power consumption from our test device during idle. Most of its peers are slightly more economical, which does not apply to measurements under load though.
