Samsung has recently revealed that it has grabbed the top spot in the premium smartphone market in India, beating Apple and others.
However, Samsung continues to face tough competition in the mid-range and lower priced handset range from Chinese smartphone makers. I feel, with the A and the new M series, Samsung has done well enough to take on Xiaomi and other Chinese brands in the affordable segment.
And a decision to launch a new phone each month for four months seems to be the correct one. But Samsung is doing great to hold on to the premium segment in the Indian market. Something to cheer about :D.
