This feature is really fun, because it makes creating and sharing gifs ridiculously easy. Obviously, you can get these features on any phone via third-party apps, but I think Meizu deserves some credit for sticking them right in the default camera app. Elsewhere, Flyme is less impressive. I finally fixed the issue by Googling it, downloading a third-party app called Google Installer, and getting Google Services and the Play Store onto my phone that way.
Most of my apps work now, but when I tried to download a podcasting app, for example, I got a weird server error and then the Google Play app froze. Downloading the exact same app on my LG G4 Android phone worked perfectly, so I have to assume the problem on the Pro 5 was some under-the-hood Flyme problem. There are other annoyances with Flyme, too.
