More The Nokia 6. Unfortunately, Nokia once again uses pulse-width modulation for regulating the display's brightness and although the frequency is high enough for it not to affect many users it may still cause issues for PWM-sensitive people.

Nokia 7.2 review: When good enough isn’t good enough
The bezels on either side are minimal, but the chin at the bottom grabs your attention. Move over to the side, though, and you start to appreciate the composite materials used here.
The finish and tactile feel of the volume rocker and power button are on point. The same goes for the dedicated Google Assistant key on the left. The latest crop of Nokia-branded phones have integrated notification LEDs into the power button, and it works just as advertised. The side button glows a soft white shade when a notification pops up. It is discrete and retains functionality that many power users love. Flip the phone over and you can see the sharp attention to detail. The matte finish glass back feels luxurious.
We have the black variant here with us, but I found the Cyan Green shade particularly enchanting.

That said, I did not like how much the camera module stood out. It constantly caught my pocket as I slipped it in. A fingerprint scanner is placed below the module and is easy enough to reach. Something that did strike me was the quality of haptics on the Nokia 7. Also read: Best Nokia 6. This arrangement is common on most mid-rangers these days.

Colors look punchy and vibrant. Blacks look a deep grey here and it gets in the way when watching a dark show like Stranger Things on Netflix. Outdoor visibility is perfectly good. We measured peak brightness levels of about nits, which is plenty enough for outdoor use. The display has a noticeably cool tone to it with higher than normal blue levels.
The phone has a dynamic contrast mode that can adjust the color temperature and white balance depending on what applications you are running. Within apps, the effect is subtle. The phone can adjust the white balance based on ambient light, and the effect is similar to the night light feature on Android. Interestingly, Nokia is saying that you'll be able to use many of these functions in HDR conditions and in low light - again, something we need to fully test.
What we will say though is that there's a lot crammed into this camera. While we love having camera options, there's always the risk that too many will simply confuse users who just want to point and shoot. As with Nokia's other phones, the Nokia 6. This is a pure version of Android, free from bloatware and other distractions, so it's very much like the Pixel experience. It's an experience that we like, because unlike budget brands like RedMi or Honor, you don't have to skip around duplicated apps or services - it's clean and lean.
But the real benefit is that Nokia has demonstrated that it can provide updates to its phones quickly - it's not only been the fastest to update to Android Pie, but it also delivered security updates on a timely basis. With Android 10 just launching, we wouldn't be surprised if the Nokia 6.

Of course we've only spent limited time with this phone so far, but we have high hopes for it. The biggest question, however, is whether the Nokia 7. Premium design Pocket-lint That's always been true of the Nokia 6, but the model, with thick bezels above and below the display, never looked quite as up to date as the Nokia 7 models - which expanded to an display and then a notched display in the 7.
